Travelling With Hand Luggage Only!

Paris hand luggage.jpg

One of my favourite things about travelling is the packing and preparation. I love googling the hotel and finding things to do near by, as well as planning what to wear each day of the trip. This time in two days time we’ll be in Disneyland Paris and I am so excited to get out of the country and go on a little adventure.

As we are only going for two nights, we have decided to only bring a hand luggage each which I think is a first for me. I love to majorly over pack and bring plenty of choices so I have no idea how I have managed to cut down and bring only the essentials.

Starting with my handbag, I have packed in here my ‘go to’ items for the airport and flight.

1.Money

2. Passport

3. Digital Camera

I’ve been really torn about whether to take my DSLR with me on this trip as I’d love to take some really cute photos of the park, but I just don’t think it’s worth carrying the extra weight, especially as I would have to leave it behind on the rides.

4. Lipstick and Lip-balm

5. Phone and Headphones

6. Notepad

When I was at university, we were advised to always carry a notepad around with us as we would never know when inspiration for our next story would strike. I still find this a great idea and on a recent trip to San Francisco, my notepad was a life saver. I was on a windy Double-Decker bus with 10 must-do ideas.

7. Hairbrush

I am IN LOVE with the Tangle Teezer. Definitely a must in any make-up bag.

8. Tablets

9. Mascara

10. Minnie Mouse Ears

Why not? (:

Packing Tips

  • Begin by planning your main day outfit, then work backwards… Do you need extra jeans? Leggings?
  • Plan your travel outfit (Wear your thickest clothes here, so they don’t take up too much room in your carry on)
  • Check the weather before you travel, that way you don’t pack shorts for the rain.

I really hope you enjoyed this post. What are your travel essentials? 🙂
