Mini Bedroom Haul / Autumn Bedroom

Hello Bloggers! I hope you’ve all had a nice weekend 🙂

As Autumn is now upon us, I’ve really been wanting to redecorate my bedroom and make it a bit more cosy. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve of seen that I took advantage and visited IKEA on the weekend and finally bought a double bed. I know this is probably not a big deal for many people, but I’ve always had single beds, and then I went to university and wasn’t too bothered about my room back home… Anyway, I am soo happy! I can spread out like a starfish (very important lol), and it’s a lot easier to share the bed with my cat when she decides to join me, which is most nights.

I was out with my mum this afternoon and we only had time to visit a couple of shops before they shut, so we decided to visit Wilkinson’s and Asda which were near by, as we thought they may sell some homeware. There’s quite a bit more I would like to buy when I get round to visiting more shops. I’ve read that TKMAXX have some cute room decor. This post is very mini haul but I hope you enjoy reading it.

I’ve also added a couple of items I bought recently from other shops which I thought were autumnal.

First of, I bought a wicker basket from wilko (£8). So random, but I’ve seen people online using cute baskets to keep blankets in, in their front room, so I thought why not? I need to purchase some throws or something to add in here.

The next thing I bought was this faux fur cushion. I spotted it on the way out of Asda and it was reduced to £5 so I had to get it.

I then bought another cushion. This one is from Wilko and they do different colours.

This item isn’t decor related but I found these chocolate orange face masks in wilko (£4). I’m not too bothered about the masks themselves, but I thought the dish, palette knife and brush were handy to have. I’ve read about some DIY face masks recently, and this set would be perfect for when I try them out.

I love fairy lights. I think they look really pretty and give off a relaxing aura, especially when you snuggle into bed after a long day, and they light up the room. I think I bought these ones from eBay, but they sell them everywhere including Primark. I also need to find somewhere to put these as my new bed doesn’t have a headboard. Any suggestions? 🙂

Autumn also means more hot drinks. I got this initial coaster from Tiger for only £1.

I really like that initial tile, as I weirdly have a things about items with initials on them. I better go into Tiger and see what they’re got as they’ll make great Christmas present fillers.

They would. That’s a great idea. They don’t do every letter, so you may want to ask a member of staff if you can’t find one 🙂 x
