On 13th February 2018 I posted a bucket list of 25 things I wanted to do before my 25th birthday. It’s been exactly four months since this post and I have just over one month left until my birthday on 26th July. So where am I on this list?
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you’d of seen that I’ve ticked off over half of my challenges and I’m pretty proud of myself. There’s certain things I thought would be really hard to tick off like, ‘signing up to something crazy’ and ‘trying a pole fitness class’, but instead they’ve proved to be rather simple. But most surprising of all, the one thing I wrote down that I honestly thought I’d cop out of, I actually did do, and not only that, but I did it months ago. Read all about it here!
So what have I got left to tick off?
1. Finish a book
4. Get into shape
7. Drive somewhere new
8. Catch up with an old friend
13. Host a BBQ
15. Get involved in a pub quiz
17. Enjoy a picnic
21. Midnight drive or drive thru
22. Visit a new beach
Like my original post, some of these things are already in the works, such as number eight where I’ve got a girl’s weekend to Bath booked in a couple of weeks time with an old friend from uni who I haven’t seen in over a year. I’ll also be visiting a new beach (number 22) at the end of the month in Barcelona, and am in the process of attempting to get into shape.
Where I’m struggling though is number 15, ‘getting involved in a pub quiz’. When I first wrote this list I had a pub quiz booked in with work, but when the time came I cancelled last minute, and now I have no idea how I’m gonna gather a group of friends for something so random. Also number 21, ‘midnight drive or drive thru’. I’m not even sure that drive thru’s are open past midnight and am falling asleep most nights by 10pm, so this one will also be interesting.
But it wouldn’t be a challenge if it was easy now, would it?
